Law bans commercial striped bass fishing on the Hudson River
Gov. Andrew Cuomo has signed a law which extends the ban on commercial fishing for striped bass, a popular sport fish, on the Hudson River. The ban has been in place since the 1970's due to PCB contaminants from the George Washington Bridge to the Federal Lock and Dam in Troy
